JOINT MANIPULATION
Joint manipulation or chiropractic adjustment is used to improve motion within your joints and your body's overall physical function. The chiropractor uses their hand to apply a controlled quick and gentle force through the joint. This is used in combination with other treatments to provide the most effective treatment for you and your condition.
CUPPING
Cupping therapy is a process in which we apply a cup to create suction that lifts the skin, tissues, and muscles upward. This aids in helping blood flow, inflammation, relieving pain, and encouraging muscle relaxation.
SFMA
The SFMA is a clinical movement-based diagnostic system that finds the cause of pain - not just the source. We break down a variety of movement patterns to determine what is dysfunctional for those who are experiencing pain or limitations.
IASTM
IASTM or instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization is a myofascial technique used to treat soft tissue. We utilized a stainless steel beveled edge instrument and apply it to treat areas of soft tissue adhesions. The process of utilizing the instrument against the tissue increases blood flow, reduces any soft tissue restriction, and restores functional movement.
REHAB
At our office, we want to help you be able to perform any activity or hobby you love doing without the worry of becoming injured. We create a care plan specifically for you that is designed based on your exam findings and the goals you want to achieve.
TAPING
Kinesiology taping is a flexible and thin tape that helps aid in pain relief, supports joints and muscles, and helps reduce pain and inflammation. We also utilize this taping to encourage sensory feedback to the brain which can help influence movement patterns.
